How do I designate which slicer to send the downloads to?

Depends on the slicer you are using. I use Cura so I open my STLs in it, slice the file and then use the gcode file produced to send to my printer.

Which 3D printer are you using? Maybe go with the slicer reocmmended by the manufacturer?

@thaomon you do not have to send an STL download to a slicer right away. When you download you could create a folder for downloaded STLs and then sub folders. Once you have a saved STL you can use it for slicing or open it in other programs as a mesh. Its just another file that you can use when you need it.

@thaomon I just checked Cura 15.13.0 and it has a profile for the centauri carbon already

You can also add your own based on a specific machine. I did that when there wasn’t one for the MPMD or the Predator. I wanted to include some base information and also a little more in the background rather than a plain bed. If the Centauri Carbon is basically the same as the Carbon use the Carbon as your base printer and customize it.
