Hallo to everyone.
A few years ago I bought and Anet A8.
For various reasons I never assembled it, last week I thought I had to give her a go.
Assembled it, switched it on… the display switches on.
But nothing else happens.
I set the “home” function but no motor starts. Not even a noise.
It just doesn’t do anything.
I checked cables and connection, switched off and on several times.
Nothing.
I’m stuck.
Can anyone give me some hints?
Thanks!
Not familiar with that exact model but some of those have an option on the power supply to select voltage based on where you live. If you live in the US or Canada it needs to be 110 volt and if you live in Europe it needs to be 220 volt. Its a little red switch on the power supply if yours has one.
I have also a Annet A8 and a Anet A6. Both now in parts and I bought a Creality 3V2. The Annets have a lot of noise and the motherboard is easy to connect with stuff.

I read now you have a display, so you have power. Possible end stops wrong connected?
