I just tried to add a new design and I can fill out the whole form, but It will not let me publish because the two files I am including, an stl and a 3mf, just sit at “uploading”. I mean, it’s not unusual for this site to have problems, but this is a pretty big one.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Well you need at least one 3D file. If not STL or 3mf it can be a STEP or OBJ (maybe other formats i’m not aware}. But not an empty project. What are you trying to upload?

Maybe this will make it more clear.

In case anyone else runs into this problem, the filename+extension of the files I was trying to upload is 61-characters, including spaces, underscores, and period. Apparently, this is too much for Thingiverse to handle.
12-years I’ve been posting on Thingiverse and this has never been an issue. I sure hope the backend is properly coded for Y2K since it seems to be running on a very slightly more advanced copy of DOS…

Ha, sorry i misunderstood. Seems you are right, its an issue with the file name.
I tried uploading files, the first 2 are empty files with the same name you used, the 3rd is a functional 3mf with the same name and the last is the same functional 3mf with a simple name. Only the last one uploads.
I guess you need to make the names a bit shorter…

I have just found it to be slow. When I have this happen, I just leave my computer on overnight and leave thingiverse open.
