Recent Makes section

It would be cool to add a “Recent Makes” section to Thingiverse.

This would help old but good models, specifically those that haven’t been trending for a while but are still being printed. People would see real photos, get interested, and download things that algorithms have already forgotten.

What do you think?

Yeah, it definitely didn’t catch my eye before, having to go through search and filter by ‘makes’.

@nallath shared a link to “Discover more”, and I did find “Fresh makes” there, but I didn’t notice that button right away.

I guess I’m one of those people who like to see everything on the homepage. A small preview block like “Fresh makes” would be great. You can get there with one click, no scrolling or searching.
